About

Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) has been established in 2023- 2025 to develop effective mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture at the AKS University, Satna. IQAC is essentially meant for planning, guiding and monitoring quality assurance (QA) practices and quality enhancement (QE) activities of the university. The most important objective of IQAC is to develop a transparent system for conscious, consistent, sustained and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the university. We believe and trust that the quality assurance is a continuous process which needs to be nurtured and strengthened regular from time to time.

IQAC plays very crucial role in capacity building of all faculties for assessment and accreditation both at national and international through the organization of 5-6 days faculty development programmes. IQAC will also serve as a main driving force for improving in overall quality by locating and indentifying the problems, weak linkages and working out various intervention strategies to overcome the deficiencies and enhance quality.

IQAC institutionalizes the quality assurance strategies, systems and processes by constantly reviewing the teaching- learning processes, structures and methodologies of operations and learning outcomes at periodic intervals. We all the members of IQAC have full confidence that IQAC would establish and develop quality culture at AKS university.

  • To implement sustainable quality management systems such as various ISOs and develop system for quality planning, quality control, quality improvement and quality assurance such as ISO9001 for quality management, ISO14001 for environment management system etc.
  • To implement in practice the assessment and accreditation practices such as NAAC, NIRF, NBA and ARIIA (Atal ranking of institution on innovation achievements) as well as international accreditations such as THE, QS etc.
  • To develop systems and processes for conscious consistent and catalytic action for improving academic research and innovation performance.
  • To promote and maintain the state of art facilities for academic delivery, research as well as cultural and extra-curricular facilities.

Function of IQAC

  • To development and application of quality benchmarks.
  • To develop parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  • To Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
  • To arrange, collect and analysis of feedback from all the stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
  • To disseminate the information on various quality parameters to all the stakeholders of higher education.
  • To organize the inter and intra institutional workshops and seminars, national and international on quality- related conference themes and promotion of quality circles.
  • To validate documentation of various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
  • To act as a nodal agency of the university for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of the best practices.
  • To develop and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing university quality.
  • To perform periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits along with their follow- up activities.
  • To preparate and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guidelines and parameters of NAAC.
  • Facilitating a learner-centric environment by formulating procedures and mechanisms conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.
  • Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
  • Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
  • Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality.
  • Development of Quality Culture in the university by Generating and promoting awareness on Quality sustenance.
  • Planning and execution of Annual Academic and Administrative Audit.
  • Measuring the outcome of academic performance of the university.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement in all the operational aspects of the University.
  • To keep the institution abreast of quality sustenance activities through Workshops / Seminars / Demonstrations / Case Studies / Panel Discussions.
  • Developing realistic and attainable quality benchmarks for each of the academic and administrative activity through plan of action, internal assessment, workshops etc.
